Services

The vast majority of vehicles within the brands can be enabled for Long Life Servicing or Audi Variable Servicing (AVS). This servicing program permits the vehicle to travel greater distances and/or extend the time interval between services so long as the correct Long Life oil is used. An intelligent system combined with an oil quality sensor calculates the next service interval, a vehicle may travel up to 19,000 miles between intervals or there may be up to 24 months between intervals. Although the interval will vary from vehicle to vehicle due to a number of factors, in our experience an interval is typically 16,000 miles or 20 months.

We adhere to the factory published maintenance schedule, however we do go beyond the maintenance schedule during our inspection and general maintenance.

As we always use VAG Group supplied Longlife Oil, we will always enable the Long Life Servicing unless requested otherwise.

The standard three levels of servicing are:

The Lubrication Service

Typically for those higher mileage users as an in-between service. Vehicle will indicate Engine Oil Change Due.
Includes: Engine oil, oil filter and drain plug/seal replacement. Underbody inspection including running gear. Printed technicians report if applicable.

The Intermediate Service

The most common service inspection. The vehicle will indicate Engine Oil Change Due, Inspection Due.
Includes: As above plus pollen filter replacement. Diagnostic scan, full vehicle inspection, general maintenance and road test.

The Major Service

The service inspection with periodic items, typically every 40,000 miles. The vehicle will indicate Engine Oil Change Due, Inspection Due
Includes: As above plus periodic items such as Fuel filter or Spark plugs and Air filter.

There may be variations to the standard levels of servicing depending on the vehicles history and mileage, there may also be other periodic items at 40,000 miles which would be included in the Major Service.

Additional Service Items (Not included in standard levels of service)

There are a number of periodic maintenance or replacement items that are additional to the general maintenance schedule and not included in the standard levels of servicing cost, these are listed by the manufacturer on the digital service portal and are specific to the vehicle. These may be time based or mileage based intervals, they may include S-Tronic servicing, sports differential servicing, cambelt replacement, auxillary belt and tensioner replacement to name a few.

We always check the service history and requirements of each vehicle before and during servicing. Any additional periodic items will be reported to you with the associated quotes.
